SkyVision to manage global network of Catholic Relief Service

Global provider of IP connectivity over satellite and fiber optic systems, SkyVision has been choosen by Catholic Relief Services (CRS), the official international humanitarian agency of the Catholic community in the United States, to use its VSAT solution to optimize its global network. With SkyVision’s optimize services that offer dedicated capacity from SkyVision VSAT hubs together with increased flexibility and control over customers’ own networks, Catholic Relief Services can now dynamically manage the bandwidth of its network spanning over 20 global sites from one head office.

SkyVision’s VSAT solution is also set to reduce the NGO’s networking costs by 30% because it will be run on a single, unified platform with coverage spanning between 3 continents, SkyVision’s value-added solution also includes a managed firewall and dynamic content filtering management throughout the network, that supports CRS’ tight requirements.
