Nasarawa State has built an incubation centre to develop and promote IT innovation among young indigenes of the state. The Commissioner for Special Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Jonathan Ayuba said the centre is part of the state’s commitment to promote IT capacity building and innovation among young Nigerians.
“The centre, when inaugurated, will be responsible for developing talents as a way of promoting science and technology.”
“The Federal Government is happy about the incubation centre and the Minister of Science and Technology will soon come to inaugurate the centre,” Ayuba told the News Agency of Nigeria.
The state plans to make the centre the production hub for most of the science equipment that will be used in secondary schools to nurture entrepreneurship among young Nigerians in the state.
