Uyo, capital of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria is the host city for this year’s #StartupSouth starting from October 29 -November 2, 2019. It aims at providing the opportunity for brands, organizations, and individuals to organize ideal contents.
#StartupSouth is the biggest startup and entrepreneurship conference in the South-South and South-East of Nigeria, attracting the best founders from across the globe, Africa and Nigeria for a full day of networking, learning, connection and fun.
This year, the event with the theme: Unlocking the next 60 Million will bring together stakeholders that include successful startup founders, investors, and policymakers. The gathering offers opportunity for brands, organizations, and individuals to organize ideal contents.
Contents at #StartupSouth5 will be delivered in several formats, such as masterclasses, panels of discussions, fireside chat, and keynote speeches. Attendance is free. Attendees will be able to benefit from a host of discussions and trainings that will cover AI, ML, proprietary systems, education, health, fintech, business startups, energy, policy, marketing, sales, lifestyle, travel, housing, sports, and entertainment among others.
Goge Africa, popular tour brand, will be a tour of Akwa Ibom in partnership with organisers of #StartupSouth.
Corporate sponsorship are open from N500,000 for interested organisations.

Over 5000 people have attended a #StartupSouth event/training physically/online and over $400,000 has been raised by #StartupSouth founders,” said a statement by the organisers.
